SP User Role Recommended Settings

Based on feedback from other users with the Service Professional (SP) role within the NetVendor Maintenance platform, here are the recommended setup options:

Mobile App Notifications on your Phone

Users have found the best experience when they are not at their computer by using the iPhone or Android native NetVendor Maintenance (NVM) mobile application. This is designed to deliver notifications directly to your device that are automatically linked to the subject of the notification.

Use Text/SMS instead of Email

In the event that you do not have the native mobile app installed on your mobile device, we recommend to set up your user account with Text/SMS notifications instead of Email, as they are much easier to consume and determine if action, on your behalf, are required.

When logged into the web or mobile application, navigate to your user profile page by clicking on the circle in the upper right corner, as shown:
